At the same time, Nausicaä Of The Valley Of The Wind offers an unusual plot. Likewise, the film offers multiple different sub-plots and tries to tackle each of them within its run time. These sub-plots involve politics, poisonous forests, and weapons to destroy the forests. There’s a strong environmentalist message attached to the film that’s pieced together wonderfully. As for the film’s characters, you can expect them to follow specific archetypes. These archetypes include concepts like the resourceful young heroine, the wise elder, the courageous side-kick, and others. Like Bubble, these characters don’t get much character development. They mainly stick to their guns and remain one-noted. However, their actions in the film should leave viewers feeling entertained enough to look past their cliches.

A Silent Voice

Your Name soared so A Silent Voice could later fly alongside it. A Silent Voice is a captivating film that delves into depressing themes like sorrow and depression. It also covers harsher topics like bullying and its effects on people. The characters in this film are full of life and have reltable traits that hit hard with its audience. Unlike Bubble, A Silent Voice takes it time to gradually develop its protagonists and side characters. Many of whom, will gain a change of heart while others will stick-to-the-script. A Silent Voice’s animated scenes are on par with what you’d find in Bubble. They’re not as vibrant, though. Instead, these scenes are meant to evoke strong feelings of comfort and angst–when the time calls for that. Bubble and A Silent Voice also feature a romance between two characters from different walks of life. Uta and Hibiki’s relationship takes not of their different backgrounds more literally, though.
