Renewed Or Cancelled?
Vampire in the Garden is the latest anime on Netflix, split across five episodes and blending sci-fi, action and fantasy together. With a rather short run-time and a pretty impactful story, if you’ve been following this you may be wondering if this one’s been renewed or cancelled.
What is Vampire in the Garden Season 1 about?
Vampire in the Garden jets us off to a world where humans and vampires are embroiled in a bitter war. After the humans are defeated by the vamps, humanity holds out at a small city, protected by a massive wall of light. This is the last stronghold of the human race. It’s also here humanity regroups and tries to fight back. At the center of all this is young Momo, who dreams of a peaceful coexistence between the two races. Contrasting that is the vampire queen Fine, who decides to desert the battlefield. In doing so, the two end up together in search for a utopia that old stories whisper about. But is is real?
Has Vampire in the Garden been renewed for season 2?
At the time of writing, Netflix have not renewed Vampire in the Garden for season 2. Given the respectable ratings over the weeks, it’ll be interesting to see if they actually do renew this for a follow-up. The story does end with Fine dying and Momo living in a peaceful town with happy people so the hint appear to be that she and Fine have done what they set out to do – find a place where vampires and humans happily co-exist. Netflix do have a pretty good track record with renewing their animated projects but based on how this story ends, we predict Vampire in the Garden will not be renewed. We’ll be sure to update this section with more details as they become available.
What we know about season 2 so far:
Barely anything is known about season 2 at this point, given Netflix have not green-lit a sequel. However, the conclusion does leave room for a sequel, despite how conclusive the story actually is. If Netflix do decide to renew this, expect the story to continue following Momo with another potential battle on the horizon. We generally aim to update this page when more information becomes available. Would you like to see Vampire in the Garden return for a second season? Or do you think the story has run its course?
