Unfortunately, their trip is an eventful one. Not only do they run into a pair of racist rednecks but they also find themselves in the crosshairs of a mysterious killer after they discover a dead body in a motel room. If you have seen the movie, you might be interested in a sequel. But will we get to see Brenda and her family again or is a sequel unlikely to happen? Here’s what we know.
Will there be an End Of The Road 2?
At the time of writing, a sequel to End Of The Road has not been announced. This isn’t too surprising as the first movie has only just been released on Netflix. The chances of a sequel will depend on viewing figures, review scores, and good reasons for a follow-up movie. It’s too early to say how popular the movie has been with audiences but in terms of reviews, the critical reaction has been mostly negative. As such, the chances of a sequel are probably slim if the higher-ups at Netflix take these into account when making their decision.
What could End Of The Road 2 be about?

In terms of story ideas, there is potential for a sequel. Brenda and her family survived the events of the first movie and in the final scene, we see them keep the money that they found near the dead body in the motel. As they don’t know who the money belongs to, it might be that the sequel focuses in on this. They could meet the criminals who have an invested interest in the money or they could get into trouble when the law finds out they are in possession of the stolen cash, Alternatively, the sequel could take a different path entirely. The family could take another road trip and get into trouble of a different kind, probably concluding with them making the decision to never take a road trip again! These are our suggestions but what do you think?
When could End Of The Road be released?
If a sequel is given the green light, we probably won’t see it until the end of 2023 at the earliest. This is because the star of the first movie, Queen Latifah, is currently involved with a movie called Paper Chase, which is currently in the pre-production stage. But as I suggested, I don’t think a sequel will be made as End Of The Road is not a great movie, so I think we really have hit the end of the road with this one.
